Sorry everyone its been a while since I have posted anything! Alot has happen in the past months and now it has calmed down. My foot is doing well, have shoes with arch surport, during this past summer my cat was lost due to letting outside, Been also to the beach and done some summer cleaning, been home alot but now. We are back on the road until November. We r doing good! We r waiting for load while sitting in Texas at a truck stop! I have added new pictures so please have fun looking at them. At Home due to foot!

Greetings everyone!

Today is May 4th 2009< It has been a while since I have been on here. I have been home since April 15th due to sore foot which is due to arch support, need better shoes. In the meanwhile Tony has been on the road and it has been almost 3 weeks since I have been on the road but now everything if fine and I am able to go back on the road this week. Tony is home doing things to the truck and waiting for a couple of things before we can head back out. So in the meanwhile I am trying to stay busy and stay off my foot as much as possible. As soon as we get back on the road I will give u an update of us where we r going next. Please take care and may you feel blessed by the Lord!

Stuck on I-80

Today Is March24th 2009,

Sorry it has been a while since I have been on here, been very busy. Seems all we do is drive, eat and sleep but today we are in wyoming stuck on I -80 due to shut down because of high winds about 45 to 65 miles per hour, pretty scary right, well that's why we r not driving, been here for almost 2 days. Anyways we r actually have a load going thru to Portland so who just knows when we will actually get there. Anyways take care and God bless!

Today is January 7th 2009,

Hi everyone,

Been very busy and we are excited about the new year. Lets make this the best year ever, My goal is to get more closer to God and have a more possitive attitude and be more thankful for the things I have. There are many times in our lives that we forget what God has done in our lives and we forget how blessed we are. There are so many people in this world who do not have as much as we do and we can be so selfish with our money, love and other stuff in our lives but we need to always remember that it truly is not ours but Gods. Anyways my goal is to get closer to God and love those people who has hurt me and start this year new and live each day as it is a blessing from God. We are picking up a load in California tonight and heading to Florida and then from there when we are done delivering our load we are heading to Disneyworld which we are very excited and that's how we are starting out our year. We will be there from the 14th of January to the 21st, some friends of ours is meeting us down there.
Anyways lets all be postive and be thankful for what we do have.

Today is December 27th,

Sorry it's been a while since I have wrote on here! Our truck did get fixed by the 16th of December and we were on the road for a week again going from Portland to new Mexico then to Salt lake City Utah then back to Portland Or for the Christmas, but in the process of coming back home we were stuck on I-84 for 2 days but daily it would open for an hour or more but we always seemed to miss it so we decided to go another way 26 was an option so we did it and it was closed due to a fedex truck flipping but we went another way down the street and finally we made it to Clackmas Ore to deliver our load and boy the weather was bad even over there and then finally home on December 23rd and let me tell you it was so nice being home but some way or another we were in bad weather! We are so thankful God got us home safe, The holiday was great! We are so blessed to have a God we serve and celebrate the birth of our Jesus and that my friends is the reason for the season. Sure we all love gifts but that's not the true meaning of Christmas, anyways we hoped all of u had a good Holiday and May u be blessed with God's love. We left today (Dec 27th) and we are on our way to Nevada.

Today is Sunday December 14th 2008,

Hi everyone,

Just a update on us, we are in Portland Ore at home due to Tony hitting a dear and it messed up our bumber and front lights and other front damage, I guess that dear did not want to live, we have to get it fixed before we go back on the road. This actually happen friday morning around 3am right before we came to Pentleton Oregon, we were on our way to deliver a load to Portland Oregon, coming from New Jersey so actually we were planning to leave to go back that way after we delivered that load but that happen, it should be fixed by Tuesday Morning and we hope to be back on the road and stay out for another week. We need to be back home by December 23rd. Anyways may you enjoy the snow and may you be blessed this next coming week! Talk to you all later.

Remembering our loved ones

Today is December 11th 2008,

Hi everyone, life is so precious!! We never know what is going to happen day to day, only God knows and that my friends we need to pray and seek his face everyday, the last couple of weeks we had 2 very special friends who went to be with Jesus, Bayo, what a man of God , he always had a smile and always told people about Jesus whereever he went and he was serious to, you did not want to tell him there was no God because he knew in his heart the truth and that my friends, he was real, sincere, honest and he lived in his word and walked in his presence everyday he lived. He was born on his birthday and he died on his birthday and he was a true man of God. Johnny he's another guy who we loved very much, he was very funny and he loved to joke and tease people and he loved God very much! He helped with the food bank, you see he was in a wheelchair, had trouble talking yet he was so thankkful, loving, kind and happy about life, those of us who knew him, understood him and we all loved him. Friends and family its very hard losing someone you love but always remember God understands and we need to live daily in his word because we never know when our time to up so tell me ,How many people have u reached today? When was the time U thanked Jesus for something in you life? Have u prayed and spent time in Gods word Today? Have u told someome u love them today? Anyways u all get the point!!

We are doing fine!! The weather is very interesting and there have been alot of recks due to bad weather. It is so nice being home for a couple days!!! There is so much to be thankful on this day, I am thankful that there is a God who loves and forgives, I am thankful for family and all u wonder friends, I am thankful that I know God will always love me, I am thankful for peace, joy, and a place to live. Today is Tuesday September 30th,

Hi everyone,

We have been very busy going back and forth to California to Florida, going thru all kinds of weather!! The south seems to be low on gas, gas stations are closed or people are waiting in long lines and it seems to get worse but the good thing is we need to remember that God is always incontrol with not only our lives but the world, its time to rely on God for everything not just little things. It has been truly amazing to see what's going on thru out the world and people rely on other things than God and that's sad. Today we are heading back to Florida but we stopped in Phonix Arizona at the terminal to do a class and laundry and take showers because we have not had time to stop much so we have an extra day to get caught up on stuff. Anyways we will be home on October 13th for a week for my sisters wedding and Tony will be preaching at our church on the 19th so that is a blessing and also I just found out another friend who is 2 months pregnant so that is exciting. Anyways I will let u know next week where I will be going next!!

Today is Tuesday September 11th 2008

Greetings from California,

We have been very busy and all over the US!! Today 7 yrs ago I was at the airport with my sister, mom and at that time my sisters boyfriend Wayne, she was actually going to leave that day to Florida to go work at Disneyworld in the antimation dept. That day I will never forget!! People at the airport were yelling and crying and they shut down all flights and they told us to leave the airport and I was so shocked when I saw what happen on tv that day and it also affected my sister because she didn't leave until a couple days later and they were very slow at DisneyWorld and i am really thankful my sister didn't leave on an earlier flight also it affected my job, I worked for a survey company and they told me I could not work for about 2 weeks due to the fact that my main boss worked in one of the towers, that's where the main company was! Well that was a sad day for everyone and I ask please pray today for all the people who lost there lives that day.
Today my sister's career is different and she has meant a wonderful man name Shawn who she is marring in October of this year and she is doing well and I am now no longer with that company as you all know I am a truck driver and very happy and lucky to be with my husband Tony on the truck with me, lets all remember there is always something to be thankful and grateful for which we are the ones who are here today and that's what I am thankful for!! Oh I can not forget we will be heading to Maryland tonight!!

Hi everyone, we just delievered our load last night and they are very slow and our driver manager won't be into Monday so we will be here until then. So we are exploring, we are planning to check out a Casino which has a movie theater and all you can eat and then go do a little shopping at Sams club warehouse. Sorry it's been a while since I wrote on the blog. Just to let everyone know We did get home and my teeth is fixed, they had to do a root canel, and boy it feels so much better. I sigrid also had a chance to get fitted for my dress for my sister's wedding and let me tell you her dress is amazing and we are so excited for the wedding. Also found out that one of my friends is pregnant so that's pretty exciting. We drove to Portland to Pa and now going to Phoneix Arizona, will deliver on Monday August 25th, will let you know where we will be going next in a couple of days!! We will be back home in October. Hi everyone, something is wrong with truck, so I am getting a chance to get caught up on e-mail and other stuff. We have been running coast to coast, very busy and tired. We need to run by Portland to get new tires for truck and I Sigrid need to be fitted for dress for my sisters wedding and might go back to the dentist because my teeth are hurting. We are hoping we can leave today and not be stuck here for a couple of days, but we won't know until they check our truck and we also have a high value load on us which means the load can not be late or left alone but that might change, we might have to give it up!! We were on our way to California when our truck stating acting up so we had to drive 90 miles away from our route so we can go to a Volva dealership. Greetings everyone,

Today is Friday June 20th 2008, We have been busy than slow but we always seem to get trips back and forth to Calfornia, We are resting today in memphis Ten, will be leaving tonight to go back to California, yippi for us. Anyways the weather has been pretty good for us besudes all the floods, freeways and of course towns are under water. What a mess it is, please pray for them. Tony is sleeping and I am getting caught up on my e-mail, laundry and hanging out in the laundry room away from everyone because it is quiet in here and I like it, I have time to think and pray. Anyways we will be home in 3 weeks. Um... Please pray for me (sigrid) I got another scale ticket and I am not sure what's going to happen, that day I scaled 2 other times and I was not over weight but when I went thru that one scale I was over weight so apparently those other scales were incorrect, at the shipper and our swift terminal. They will either suspend or fire me, not sure but its in God's Hands. All I can tell you truck driving isn't easy and I am very frustrated but I can't let it get to me at least I have other options but I won't worry about it until the time comes, until then please keep us in your prayers and thankyou for all the phone calls and e-mails, it means alot to both of us.

Hi everyone,

Today is Saturday June 14th 2008, Wow this year has gone by pretty quickly!! Anyways we are heading to Ohio. We will be leaving tonight so we are getting caught up on some things like cleaning the truck, checking e-mail, doing laundry, and relaxing which is very nice. We have been in Las Angelas Calfornia since yesterday around 3pm, freight is slow in this area so they are trying to get us closer to more freight. We are doing good! We went out for dinner last night and went out for breakfast so it was very nice. Anyways I am behind on my e-mail so I will talk to ya all later. We are doing good. Today is Friday May 23rd,

Greetings from New York, what a beautiful city. This week has gone by fast, in fact this year has gone by fast, anyways we are doing good. This weather is amazing and very weird this year!! We drove from Portland Ore to New York and we are driving from New York to Phoenix Arizona, then I am not sure where from there, It was nice being home for a week but I still did not get everything done. Meant with my sister and talked about her wedding, boy it sure brings back alot of memories from our wedding and another friend is getting married in July so that's when we will be back home. Anyways Tony cut his hair all the way off, in fact he is bald and he looks so cute. It has been a nice and hot day. We have been here since last night waiting for a load. The freight has been very slow. We will be leaving late tonight, they are sending us towards California (a 300 mile run) The freight is better there. Hi everyone, we are in Colorado and on our way to Ohio, had some time to update on us. Monday March 24th (today) I Sigrid decided to go down a wrong road and ended up stuck in lots of mud and we had to get towed out of the mud and It was not fun, let me tell you it has not been my week, but you know God keeps us going and We are thankful each and everyday. Today is Wednesday February 20th, it has been acouple of days since we wrote in the blog, our headlights were out in our truck and our windshield wipers were not working right so we are at a Volva shop getting it fixed, we will be heading to South Carilona and PA Tonight. Tony is taking a nap and I am checking e-mail and doing 1 load of laundry. We were home last weekend which it was nice, we were lucky because we had a load go thru Portland. Driving and Driving

Hi everyone,

We are on our way to Lousina, away from the snow for a bit. We were stuck in the Colorado Mountains for a 1 and a half days. It was nice to relax but not in the middle of the freeway at least there were plenty of people to talk to!!! I-70 was closed so no one could get thru. But anyways we finally got to Denver and now we are running again and again. Taking a short break checking e-mail and doing laundry. Going thru Washington

It has been busy and slow going coast to coast, snow, ice, rain, you name it we been thru it, well bad weather that is. I sigrid have been very nervious driving thru this weather but God and Tony helps me thru it. Tony is not so nervious because he has drove thru it many times. We are in Spokane Washington getting a tire fixed on the trailer Today and Monday night be meant with some friends who lives in Spokane, went to their house and enjoyed their fellowship. Anyways thankyou for all of your prayers and surport. We will be leaving sometime tonight and there is a storm going thru west coast, well everywhere I guess a storm is going on. We are doing fine. WE left California, drove to South Carolina and to California again. So here we are again, can not deliver until Monday morning. So we went shopping and out to dinner and now I am checking my e-mail and doing some resting until I have to drive again tommorrow. We have had good weather so far, not sure where we will go next. We drove from Maryland to California, very good run, hardly hit bad weather allthough my brother in law was in Wyoming and they shut down all the roads due to bad weather so he had to shut down for 1 1/2 days. We actually missed all the bad weather!!! Praise God. We are here in California waiting to deliver our load on Monday so we are relaxing and checking e-mail. I Sigrid was driving early(4:30am) this morning and I saw 2 semi trucks flipped over (sorry I did not get a picture of it because Tony was sleeping and I was driving) , I also saw 2 dears on the side of I-30 eating and also saw a fox running across the interstate. Anyways we are now sitting here for a day in Texas because our load delivers Monday Morning at 1am. So We are just resting and checking e-mail and just sitting around. We are at Loves truck stop. On the road again

Good afternoon everyone,

We just came from Florida and now in Denver Co. We will be leaving in the morning to go to Sydney Nebraska then to Arizona, so Tony is actually sleeping and I am checking my e-mail and took a shower at the terminal. We will be here until morning so We might just hang out. Anyways I have a funny story to tell you, we were on our way to Denver and we ran out out gas 90 miles away, talk about being embarressed, We have never ran out of gas before but apparenly our gas gauge was messed up and I was driving of course and all of a sudden our truck shut off On I-70 and Tony was sleeping but I got to the side of the road. We waited 2 hours for onroad came and saved us and boy was I glad to be on the road again. Anyways until next time. You all have a good day and God bless.

Taking a break

Hi everyone,

We are doing good. We drove thru Colorado mountains where the roads was bad and we had an empty trailer, not good for this kind of weather and I drove. I was sliding all over the road and thought I was going to Jack knife, We did see another driver in an accident, in fact he went almost off the cliff and he did not have chains on so before the police got there he was trying to put on chains and just for your information it is a $1000 dollar fine for truckers if they don't have them on. I hated that day, it took us 5 and half hours to get from Vail Colorado to Denver Colorado and of course they close the road after we were on it. At that time I had second thoughts about being a truck driver because it is a very dangerous job. But God always reminds me there is nothing he gives me that I can not handle and I praise God everyday because he is always there and always faithful and his love never fails. We are in Kentucky at a truck stop doing laundry, checking e-mail and planning to go out to dinner and a movie because we do not have to pick up our next load until 3am Tuesday Morning and then we will be on our way to Jacksonville Florida, which we have never been there so We are pretty excited, well I am anyways, really looking forward to all the rest areas (heehaa heehaa). Anyways we love to hear from you and please continue to pray for us when we go thru the not so good weather and we will talk to you soon.

Heading home

Hi everyone,

We are in California headibg home. We made it thru the storms ok. We had a scare on Friday going thru Wyoming, It was snowing very hard, roads very icy, I Sigrid was going on I-80 east toward Utah going around between 20 to 45 miles per hour depending on the road and it was also foggy out all of a sudden I came across another trucker no hazzards on going about 5-10 miles per hour had to make a choice run into him, go to the left or go onto the shoulder praying that we will come out ok. By the way my brakes were all the way to the floor and my trailer sliding all over the interstate, Trucks passing me on the left and I had to react fast, I had about 20 sec I decided to go on the shoulder which the snow stopped us. Praise God, I was a little shook up but let me tell you I believe God took over and protected us. We were half on the shoulder and on the interstate and cars coming towards us. We did get on the CB and warned them what happed and boy was I mad and about an hour later they finally closed that interstate and of course I had to call my causin Trudy and I lost it. Ever since we began driving truck God has Protected us in so many ways and we are so thankful for everyones prayers and kindness towards us.

Hi everyone,

WOW We have been all over!!! We Are at the termainal in Lathrop Calf. We are getting new tires and a oil change and I am trying to catch up on all my e-mail. Anyways on our way to California we had an oppitunity to help some truckers who was rolled over on the 97 near MT Shasta, It was 4am on Friday December 7th and Tony was driving and I was sleeping and it was very icy and snowy and he was use to going down that road and he was driving and he saw a rolled over truck on the side of the road and it just happened a couple min before we came, if we would have been there a little earlier we would have maybe been involved or seen it happen. All I can say is that God was there in the right time (like he always is). I woke up after I heard some yelling and Tony was in the middle of calling for help which his phone actually worked at that time and just for your info our phones never work in that area, so you think about it God knew we needed to help 2 young men who survived it which was 1 a miracle 2 God Gave us an oppunity to help someone who needed us and God showed me that it was the beginning of a new ministry and 3 I at that time forgot about my self and helped someone who was in shock. The truck is history and its amazing how God can use a big thing like that to change my perspective on life. You see I am very nervious and scared about driving in the winter so We are asking for extra prayer this winter. That was the first time we ever saw something that close and we did take pictures and when we get home My causin Trudy is going to show me how to put picturtes on the blog.

Well we are on the road again, We left the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We did a 3 day run back and forth to Roseburg Oregon to Richmond Ca and that got boring after a while. But now we are done with that and we are picking up aload from Lathrop Calf and going to ForestPark GA and we are excited. We are running out of hours so we might have to do a 34 hr restart. Anyways it is so nice hearing from everyone and we always look forward to your comments. We love all of you very much and your in our prayers. It has been awhile since I have wrote, well we have to everywhere. Um... South Carlina, Georgia, NewYork, Crenne Utah, Idaho, Missouri, Washington and Oregon. We are actually on our way to Morehaed Kentucky to drop off a load and then picking up in Whitning ohio and taking it to lousina, We are pretty excited. I love being on the road.Ok everyone my spelling may not be right but I am sure you all will figure it out. We will be home the day before Thanksgiving for 4 days. God has blessed us in so many ways. I am finally done. I PASSED MY FINAL TEST!! They just took me for a driving test around 10am, I did not have to go with another mentor for the day, they told me I did not need to due to the situation in California with the instructer. Now we are just waiting for a load and I need to finish my paperwork and become solo. We will keep you all informed, thank you for all of your prayers and surport thru out the months and We give God all of the credit. I could not do it without Gods help and all of your prayers. We have been quite busy traveling state to state, We will be leaving tommorrow Friday October the 26th to go to sumner wa to take my final driving test {sigrid} and get finalized. We should be there by Saturday. I will actually be going with another mentor for 1 day {sigrid} due to failing a drivers test in Calfornia. If you want to know more about me failing that test call me and I will explain what happen. The instructer was not very nice. We finally got a new truck with a bigger bed and table and chairs. Tony and Sigrid are in Ohio waiting for a load to deliver. They've been to Massachusetts, North Carolina and Virginia. They have been there since last night. While they are waiting they have been able to catch up on laundry and get some groceries. As Sigrid said in her last email they are planning to be home the end of next week sometime. A potluck open house is being planned for Sunday the 14th at Tony and Sigrid's place so people can stop by and see them. Time for the open house is 2pm until whenever the last person goes. If you have any questions about the open house you can talk to myself or Patty Oliver. They are both looking forward to seeing people. Continue to pray for them for travel mercies.

Hi everyone,

Yes its me Sigrid this time, my causin Trudy has been updating for me which it has been a blessing. We are here in Arizona having a 34hr restart because I ran out of hours to drive and Tony had some left but to make it even we had to do this restart. Let me tell you it has been nice just not driving and just sitting around watching movies and checking my 500 e-mails. We are doing laundry and catching up on paperwork and just relaxing until we start again. We have actully been here since saturday night so we start working again Monday Morning at 12am. Our working times are never the same which I am finally getting use to but its still a little hard. We are planning to be home for at least 4 days during the week of October 12th. Anyways I have more e-mails to check, please continue to give us comments because we will read them sooner or later.

Always an Adventure

Tony and Sigrid are now in California as they delivered their load this morning about 6:45am. Sigrid was very happy to sleep in and get a hot shower. They will be heading to Virginia this afternoon to take their next load. Sigrid has been doing better at driving during the night. Although she did tell me about her going the wrong way. It was Thursday night and Tony was catching some sleep. Sigrid was to go on I-64 instead of Hwy 64. I guess there's two 64's where they were at. Anyway, she's just driving along and Tony happens to wake up. He asks her where she's at and she tells him I-64. He tells her no, your on Hwy 64. So they had to turn around and get back to the right road. Luckily she had only been driving for about 20 minutes!! Yesterday they were in Wyoming and saw tons of gazelle's for which she was very excited to see. They are having a blast and as Sigrid told me this morning "I'm having the best time of my life".

Finally Done

Hi everyone,

I DID IT! I am done, have my A CDL licence, I took my final test at 6am today and of course I passed. So I am leaving Saturday morning from Lewistion Idaho by bus to go back to Portland Or for 1 and half days. I will be leaving On Monday afternoon to go to orientation in Sumner Washington. Tony will take me to my hotel and will be there in class for 2 days and then I believe Tony will drive local until I am done and then will drive as a team and I am sooooooo excited to drive all over the states. Tony is actually home and will pick me up from bus station on saturday late afternoon, so I will be in church on Sunday. Well I hope to see most of you on Sunday morning. It seems I never have enough time to visit all of my 20000 friends well maybe not that much but it is sure nice to be loved by everyone. Thanks for all of your prayers and surport and Thank you God for being by myside the whole time. My Grandpa and my best friend Jana Johnson would be proud of me, and of course of all of you. Thank you for not giving up on me.

Just an update. Tony is on his way to Phoenix Oregon and he his doing good trying to stay busy. Wednesday I will be taking my final test on the road {please pray} and of course I will pass unless I hit a curb or something. Then I will be home for a couple of days and will leave to go to Sumner Oregon for oriontation for 2 1/2 days and again I will stay in a hotel. Almost done

Hi everyone,

Just an update on what's going on with us. Tony just did mentor training in Edwardsville Kansas today (Friday Aug 31st. He is doing fine just trying to stay busy and is now waiting for a load. I sigrid is in the midst of driving the truck thru mountains, downtown Lewiston Idaho, really narrow and scary roads. Let me tell you it is very different driving a big truck and it can be very dangerous if you don't stay alert and you have to always have control of the vehicle. Anyways I have a state driving test on Wednesday. Please pray that I pass because I m very nervious, and kinda scared but God will be with me. My last day should be next Thursday or Friday Sept 6th or 7th. So I am hoping I will be home next weekend before I start orintation in Sumner Washington. In fact I am trying to get Tony to have a load this way so I don't have to take the Greyhound bus back to Portland because its 8hrs and 30 min by bus and only 6 hrs from Portland. Well, Here is another update, Tony is in Edwardsville Kansas at the terminal getting his truck worked on so he is not sure when they will have it done, maybe tommorrow. I sigrid has passed most of my tests but is having trouble backing up to a dock and I failed my skills test due to that, so I have to retake it Tuesday morning or afternoon also I have to pass my pretest, knowing everything on the trailer and truck before I go on the road, If I do not pass those I will have to stay another week and try again and after that they send me home if I do not pass, I do not want to stay another week so I am determine to pass on Tuesday so PLEASE PRAY that I will pass everything tommorrow {Tuesday}. Hi my wonderful friends and family,

Just an update of what's going on with both of us, Tony is on his way to York P.A, If you all don't know what the state is please call me. I just can not spell it. He ran out of his 70 hrs to wrk for the week so he is on a 36 hr restart, so basically he can not work for that time so he is trying to stay busy and watching movies, your more than welcome to call him, I have been studing over and over and I am passing all of my tests so far, I just got my CDL A permit and I just got my class score up to 80%. I would like it to be higher so I am trying to study more and I have LOTS and LOTS of homework. We sure want to say thank you for all of your prayers and surport, it means alot to us. I better let you go for now, I have 2 more tests to do tomorrow and 3 next week than 1 drivers test a couple days after that and buy then I will be on the road with Tony training me for 6 wks and then I have 1 more driving test to do, so you may all know I am tired of taking tests but at the end it will be all worth it. Please pray that I will continue to pass them, God did not bring me this far to fail and I am not going to give up even tho I want to. It will be nice to see my Tony I miss him lots.I am hoping to come home for a visit before I train on the road. See you soon

Training in Lewiston Idaho

Well everyone,

I Sigrid made it to training, please continue that I pass all the tests, its very challenging but I did not make it all the way here to fail and besides God is in control and I have alot of people praying for me. I can do all things thru Christ who strengthens me. I have tests and classroom Monday thru Friday 5am to 4 pm so I am very tired. I did pass the physical, for those who were praying for me, thank you very much. I just have alot of studying to do and boy I will be glad when its over. Well Tony has been very busy from going to seattle to portland, bend Or to california and I am not sure where he is going next, I miss him already. All I know he is working lots of hours and he is almost to his 70 hrs so he may have to take some time off having fun somewhere in the states.

Just to let you all know we will be in town Late Satuday night or early Sunday morning. We will be in church on Sunday. Hi everyone, first of all I want to say thank you for all of your wonderful comments and prayers. When we get a chance we always try to check our blog. From Phoenix, AZ we delivered to Tracy CA then we tool another short load from Tracy ca to Merced CA.
then we picked up from riverbank CA and are delivering that to Deming, NM on Monday morning.
We arrived in Deming on Saturday night so tomorrow we are planning on resting, exploring the town and possibly seeing the Bourne Ultimatum. We will probably be back in Portland for the weekend of the 11th -- as that date draws nearer we will keep you updated.

It has been such a awesome adventure driving the states. Every state is different. We picked up a load in Brighton Colorado and headed towards Farmington New Mexico and boy it is so pretty, it's amazing what God can do. I praise him everyday. We saw 1 baby bear, 3 more Elk, and a wonderful deer on the way To New Mexico. We are in New Mexico and will be dropping off the load On Monday Morning around 7am and Not sure where we will be going next but I really hope you have enjoyed reading these little letters. Here's an update on Tony and Sigrid. They are in Denver, Colorado waiting until morning to deliver products. Tonight they will visit Sigrid's brother Eric who she hasn't seen in about 7 years. She is very excited for this opportunity. Both of them are doing well and at this point are having a blast. Sigrid saw her first tornado and her first elk yesterday. It's Trudy here just wanting to give you an update on where Tony and Sigrid are. She called me this morning to say they left Pendleton, OR for Lewiston, ID. From there they will go to Usk, WA and pick up a load and head to Gypsum, CO. I know, I've never heard of any of these places either but I'm sure they are real. Sigrid is excited to be seeing places she's never been too and she reminds me of a school girl getting new clothes or something. Anyway, don't forget to send them little notes as they do read them when they stop at a hotel that has internet access or when she calls I can read them to her. As she would say God Bless You and goodbye.

Having fun on the road

Good morning everyone,

Miss you all lots, Well we dropped and picked up a load in Medesto Calf and drove down to Pendleton Oregon will be dropping off a load On Moday Morning at 6am July 23rd, in mean while we are at a truck stop catching up on things like taking nice hot showers and checking e-mail. Anyways please continue to give me your comments, would love to hear from you. I will be on line every couple of days and if I can not my causin Trudy will do it for me in meanwhile I will let you goo and I will talk to you later.

My 1st Experience on the road

Hi all, Sissy wanted me (Trudy, her cousin) to write in her blog for her since she is on the road right now and has no way to post. They made a stop in Troutdale so Tony could fill the truck up. Sigrid needed to go to the bathroom. She left her cell phone in the truck (1st mistake) and headed into the bathroom. She was in there for a long time (you can guess what she was doing!!) and finally came out of the bathroom thinking she wouldn't have a hard time finding the truck. Out she walks and before her eyes are literally tons of Swift trucks. She realizes she has no clue which truck is Tony's. She doesn't have her cell phone to call him either. So she walks over to the mechanics area and asked them if she could use their cell phone. They look at her kind of funny and let her use it. She calls Tony (thank the Lord she knew his #) and he asks her where's she's been the last 20 minutes. She says part of that in the bathroom the other part looking for you. He eventually tells her where he's at and gives the phone back to the mechanic. She explains that her husband is a driver for Swift and she didn't know where he was at. The mechanic laughed and said that would be a problem. So she found her way back to the truck and now they are heading for CA. More to follow of their many adventures....

On Our Way

Well Everyone,

We are off on our adventure to Modesto, California. We will be leaving Today around 3:30 pm. We are excited to see what God has in store for us. I [Sigrid] will be training in Lewiston Idaho In 3 weeks again without my husband but then I will be with him driving as a team. May you all be blessed thruout the week and please feel free to leave your comments We would love to hear from everyone. We will Let you go for now and We will be talking to you in a couple of days.

Hi from the Gies's,

It is Sunday July 15th, Tony Just got into Portland today. We will be here for a couple of days and we will be on the road by Wednesday. Not sure where yet but I will let you know. Well I have last minute things to do so I will let you go for now and maybe next time you come and read this we might have some pictures. Thanks for your time.

A new thing

Well this is it, we are starting a new thing, we are going trucking on the road and it is quite exciting but sad to because we are leaving our family and friends. Having this blog will help keep you informed about where we are at and what we will be doing day by day. We know that God will be with us every step of the way and he will take care of our family and friends which we will miss extremely. Come back in a couple of days and we should have something new depending where we are at day by day so please be patient and we will do are best. Talk to you soo and may God bless and be with you.
